Terms of Service

Postcard from 2036 is a one-time video generation service. For $4.99, you receive a single AI-generated video postcard — approximately 45 seconds — from your simulated 2036 self. The video is delivered to your email and available on a shareable page for 30 days.

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you are the subject of the photo (or have the rights and consent of the subject), that you are at least 18 years old, and that you consent to the photo being processed by our AI providers to create your video. Your photo is permanently deleted within 24 hours of delivery.

If your video fails to generate for any technical reason, you will receive a full automatic refund to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. We do not offer refunds for completed videos on the basis of artistic preference or the content of the generated script.

You may not use this service to generate content involving minors, impersonate a real person without consent, create defamatory content, or otherwise violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders that violate these terms.

You own the video postcard generated for you. You may share, download, and use it for personal purposes. We retain no rights to the output. The Postcard from 2036 brand, website, and underlying technology remain our property.

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for the accuracy of AI-generated content (scripts, aged photos, or voice). The video is entertainment — not a prediction of the future. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid ($4.99).
